Uncovering the stolen purpose, the counterfeit kingdom, and how to reclaim our divine destiny.
Saints, I need to talk to you today about something deeper than careers, deeper than success, deeper than anything this world can offer. I’m taking you behind the veil—into the COSMIC WAR FOR YOUR DESTINY.
We’re surrounded by brilliance. Medical miracles. Technological wonders. Endless entertainment. But I need you to ask a dangerous question tonight: What if these aren’t just blessings? What if they’re also BAIT?
What if there’s a MYSTERY OF PURPOSE—a divine blueprint that was hijacked, a human destiny that was corrupted, and we’ve been living in the counterfeit ever since the foundations of this world?
(PART 1: THE ORIGINAL BLUEPRINT – BEFORE THE HIJACK)
Let’s go back. Before Babel. Before the Flood. Before the serpent. To the moment when the Godhead convened and spoke existence into being.
“Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule…” (Genesis 1:26).
Did you hear the divine sequence? IMAGE. LIKENESS. RULE. Your purpose wasn’t an afterthought—it was the VERY REASON FOR YOUR BREATH.
God established three pillars of original purpose:
First—LOCATION: The Garden of Eden. This wasn’t just paradise. This was the THRONE ROOM ON EARTH where Heaven’s dimension and Earth’s dimension perfectly overlapped. Where God walked with humanity in the cool of the day. A place of perfect communion where every need was met by presence, not provision.
Second—AUTHORITY: Dominion over EVERYTHING. Over fish, birds, animals. And listen closely—even authority OVER THE SPIRITUAL REALM ALREADY ON EARTH. Humanity was created to rule as God’s royal family, exercising heavenly government over a territory that included both seen and unseen realms.
Third—CONDITION: Everlasting life. No death. No sickness. No separation. Just eternal increase, eternal fellowship, eternal fruitfulness.
This was the perfect system: Humanity RECEIVING FROM GOD, PARTNERING WITH GOD, and RULING WITH GOD in perpetual communion. This was the original purpose—to be kings and priests in God’s garden-temple.
(PART 2: THE GREAT DECEPTION – THE PURPOSE HIJACK)
But a rebellion had already stained the heavens. Lucifer, that bright morning star, in his pride declared, “I will ascend… I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14). Cast down with a third of the angelic host, this earth became a prison under judgment—a contested territory.
And into this spiritual warzone, God placed His masterpiece—humanity—as His governing agents. But the enemy didn’t attack with armies. He launched a SPIRITUAL HIJACK OF PURPOSE ITSELF.
The first deception was subtle: “You will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5). This wasn’t about fruit—it was about seizing the right to DEFINE REALITY FOR YOURSELF. It shifted humanity’s purpose from “Thy will be done” to “My will be done.” From dependence to defiance. And with that choice, we were exiled—cut off from the Tree of Life, severed from our source.
But the hijack went deeper. Much deeper.
Genesis 6 reveals the escalation: “The sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose” (Genesis 6:2). These “sons of God” were fallen angelic beings who CROSSED DIMENSIONAL BOUNDARIES to infiltrate the human line. Their offspring—the Nephilim—were “heroes of old, men of renown.”
This was GENETIC AND SPIRITUAL SABOTAGE. The fallen realm was offering a counterfeit advancement—supernatural knowledge, enhanced abilities, a civilization built on ANGELIC-HUMAN HYBRIDIZATION RATHER THAN DIVINE PURPOSE. They whispered: “You don’t need to wait on God. We can give you power now. We can help you build now.”
This brings us to Babel—and here’s where we must understand the DIMENSIONAL REALITY.
They didn’t choose Shinar randomly. They went to A SPECIFIC LOCATION WHERE ANGELS HAD FALLEN—a place where the veil between dimensions was thin. Heaven isn’t “up there” in our sky—Heaven is a DIFFERENT DIMENSION, a realm that intersects with ours. These builders had discovered one of those intersections.
And they had the perfect tool: A UNIFIED LANGUAGE. I believe they spoke a remnant of the original Edenic tongue—a language that wasn’t just for communication, but was SPIRITUAL TECHNOLOGY. In the beginning, God spoke creation into existence. Language in its pure form has creative, dimensional power. The Edenic language was humanity’s access code to the heavenly realm.
Their plan? At this portal location, using this powerful language, with collective will and occult knowledge (from the fallen “sons of God”), they would STORM HEAVEN BY FORCE. They would enter illegally, seizing what God intended to give by relationship.
And God declared: “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then NOTHING THEY PLAN TO DO WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM” (Genesis 11:6).
Notice His response. Not an earthquake. Not fire from heaven. He CONFUSED THEIR LANGUAGE. Why? Because their UNIFIED SPEECH WAS THE KEY TO THEIR UNIFIED POWER. He didn’t just stop a building project—He scrambled their spiritual access code. The one language shattered into fragments, and with it, humanity’s collective access to divine dimensions was severed.
(PART 3: THE MODERN MANIFESTATION – LIVING IN THE COUNTERFEIT)
Church, this isn’t ancient history. WE ARE BORN INTO THIS HIJACKED SYSTEM.
The spirit of Babel is the spirit of our age. It whispers in modern dialect:
“You can have health without the Healer.”
“You can have knowledge without the Truth.”
“You can have prosperity without the Provider.”
“You can have power without the King.”
“You can have spirituality without the Spirit.”
This counterfeit purpose builds impressive towers: Medical systems that heal bodies but ignore souls. Education that fills minds but starves spirits. Finance that promises security but breeds bondage. Religion that offers ritual without relationship.
Even our cultures and traditions—many begun as God-given bridges for fallen people to reach Him—have been hijacked. God gave sacrifices to point to Christ. God gave festivals to tell His story. God gave rituals to teach His ways. But the enemy perverted them into SYSTEMS OF CONTROL—where people perform to get blessings rather than surrender to receive grace.
This is why we fight over traditions. Why we cling to rituals. Why we defend cultural practices that lost their divine meaning centuries ago. WE’RE TRYING TO ACCESS A DIMENSION WITH BROKEN ACCESS CODES!
The evidence surrounds us: More technology, more isolation. More knowledge, more confusion. More entertainment, more emptiness. More religion, more distance from God.
We’re building Babels in every sector, speaking the language of achievement, progress, self-actualization—all while remaining spiritually illiterate to the language of Heaven.
(PART 4: THE RESTORATION – RECLAIMING YOUR TRUE PURPOSE)
But hallelujah—the story doesn’t end at Babel!
Two thousand years ago, the Word became flesh. Jesus Christ—the perfect image of the invisible God—stepped into our dimension. Where Adam failed in a garden, Jesus prevailed in Gethsemane. Where the first Adam brought death through a tree, the last Adam brought life through the cross.
But there’s more. Fifty days after His resurrection, as 120 waited in an upper room—PENTECOST CAME.
“And suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind… They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire… All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” (Acts 2:2-4).
Do you see the glorious reversal? At Babel, God confused ONE LANGUAGE INTO MANY to scatter a rebel unity. At Pentecost, God empowered the Church with MANY LANGUAGES FROM ONE SPIRIT to gather a holy multitude!
This wasn’t a return to Edenic tongue. This was greater: THE HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF BECOMING OUR TRANSLATOR, OUR ACCESS CODE, OUR DIMENSIONAL BRIDGE!
The curse of Babel was being healed! The fragmentation overcome! The spiritual illiteracy addressed! God wasn’t giving back the old language—He was giving His very Spirit so we could communicate directly with Heaven!
People from “every nation under heaven” heard the wonders of God IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGES. The Gospel wasn’t forcing Hebrew or Aramaic—it was meeting people in their context, redeeming it from within!
Pentecost was Heaven’s answer: “You tried to ascend to Me by force? Watch as I descend to you in grace. You lost your spiritual language? I give you My Spirit who intercedes with groanings too deep for words.”

And then—with all authority reclaimed—Jesus issued the restored mandate: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-19).
THIS IS THE RECLAIMED PURPOSE!
Your true purpose isn’t building your kingdom with world blueprints. It’s advancing GOD’S KINGDOM with Heaven’s blueprint, under King Jesus!
It means:
Your workplace is a mission field for Christ-like dominion
Your body is a temple carrying the Holy Spirit
Your relationships are divine appointments for discipleship
Your struggles are battlegrounds to enforce Calvary’s victory
THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED IN CHRIST.
Tonight, you stand at a dimensional crossroads. That emptiness you feel? That’s not a defect—it’s your ORIGINAL DESIGN CRYING OUT FOR ITS TRUE PURPOSE. Your spirit remembers Eden. Your soul longs for the Garden.
You have a choice:
Continue building your Babel, speaking this age’s language, pursuing the fallen kingdom’s purposes
Or surrender to the divine reversal
Maybe you’ve never surrendered. Tonight, Jesus offers more than forgiveness—He offers your true identity. Come.
Maybe you’re saved but building wrong things. Come realign. “Holy Spirit, reset my purpose.”
Maybe you need deliverance from the hijack—generational patterns, occult influences, cultural strongholds distorting your understanding of God. Come and be free.
Come. The Spirit and Bride say, “Come.”
Today, step out of Babel’s shadow into Pentecost’s power. Reclaim your divine destiny. Your true purpose awaits.

“Father, we confess: We’ve built our own Babels. Pursued counterfeit purpose. Forgive us. We break agreement with every purpose not born of You. Jesus, we align with You as King. Holy Spirit, fill us afresh. Reactivate in us the ORIGINAL PURPOSE: to rule and reign with You in love, power, and eternal life. From this day—Your Kingdom alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
